Glimpse is a diverse business social media platform, and while you may not necessarily agree with a given perspective, it may not be a violation of our community standards. If you see a page on Glimpse that you feel violates our community standards, please send a support email with your concerns and we will address is right away. Glimpse”s support  team will review the report and if the Community Standards have been violated, support will get in touch with the Influencer to let them know.

Glimpse different from other platforms. We always want Influencers to feel like they have an open line of communication. So how does this translate to content moderation? Our first reflex is always to try to educate Influencers to help them understand how a rule has been broken and how to remedy the issue. In cases where the violation is particularly bad or intentional we may take further action such as suspending or removing their account. In the most extreme cases we may ban a Influencer from using Glimpse.

No matter what happens, we always give Influencers the opportunity to appeal a decision by contacting us and sending any relevant information they do not believe was considered. We may not change our minds, but we will always listen.

Glimpse is for Influencers who put something original out into the world. You may not post content that infringes on others’ intellectual property rights. You can’t create fake pages or collect money for things you’re not actually doing. Example of this is no posting content for fan pages you do not own..

You cannot pretend or impersonate another content creators, such as using someone else’s name, brand, or content in order to raise funds. We will review satire and comedy in a different way as we believe these subgenres are original content.  If we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice then we will remove that conten.

In conclusion, be yourself, respectul and curtious to others.

Not being nice

We don’t allow bullying or harassment because we want Glimpse to feel like a safe place for our various communities. At the same time, we want people to be able to express themselves, be critical, and discuss controversial issues. We draw the line although when it comes to harassing private individuals or taking any action that might affect people’s physical safety, whether these people are private or public. As much as we want you to be able to express yourself, we want all of our users to have the right to express their opinion without feeling intimidated. Even the most difficult conversations should take place in the most respectful way. Here is how we define these behaviors.

Threats

Anyone on Glimpse should be able to express their opinion in a way that doesn’t threaten another person. In this respect, we take threats of violence very seriously. Any Influencer or Follower threatening the well-being of an individual or group of people will be removed. This includes threatening behavior such as stalking or inciting others to commit violent acts.

Adult Content

We do not allow pornography on Glimpse. We require that all public content on your page be appropriate for all audiences. Sensitive content  themes must be maintained behind a gated wall. These gated areas are Sponsored page, Sponsored album or Private album which are not in public view. Sensitive content may not be in any public viewable spaces such as profile images or public albums. We ask creators to flag themselves as content type “sensitive’ if their creations may be considered inappropriate for people under 18 years of age.

Examples of sensitive content are:

• Works featuring nudity that is not designed to be sexually gratifying, such as photos of sculptures or paintings
• Works featuring nudity or sexual situations that are designed for educational purposes
• Any language profanity or “adult” language
• Works depicting real people in the nude contexts
• Animations or illustrations depicting nudity, and animations or illustrations featuring nudity
• Audio content that features simulated mature themes.

We have zero tolerance when it comes to the glorification of sexual violence which includes bestiality, rape, and child exploitation (i.e., sexualized depiction of minors). This is true for illustrated, animated, or any other type of content. Glimpse reserves the right to review and remove accounts that may violate this guideline. As a reminder, you should never post or share nude content of any individual under the age of 18, including yourself. As a strong commitment to child safety, we will work with law enforcement whenever we come across child exploitation.

We also do not allow other fringe sexual fetish content, such as incest, necrophilia, or fetish content that is hard to distinguish from non-consensual sex.

We understand that some topics on this list such as incest or rape are a little bit more complicated because these situations are, unfortunately, part of real life. As a result, when reviewing this type of content, the Trust and Safety team will take into consideration context including personal, historical or educational narrative. For example, survivor stories or fiction such as Game of Thrones or Lolita are allowed on Glimpse.

Personas Non Gratis

Because Glimpse empowers people financially, we impose restrictions not only on the types of content and projects that can be funded through Glimpse, but also on which people can and cannot receive funds through Glimpse.

After creating a Glimpse page, any Influencer caught in the act or convicted of making credible violent threats, committing violent crimes, child abuse, malicious doxing, coordinating nonviolent harm (such as fraud, money laundering and gambling), or encouraging others to do any of these activities, may be banned from using Glimpse.

Dangerous Organizations

People with a dangerous criminal history or a known affiliation with violent or dangerous groups (including terrorist or cyber terrorist organizations, organized criminal groups, and violent hate groups), cannot receive funds through Glimpse, no matter the purpose or apparent intention of their Glimpse page.

You can discuss these groups on Glimpse but any Influencer praising or actively supporting these groups or their leaders won’t be allowed on Glimpse.

Harmful or Dangerous Activity

We don’t allow funds to be collected for anything that facilitates harmful or illegal activities. You cannot post content that advocates, threatens or shows you causing harm to yourself or other people, as well as animals. In the same line as violent and harmful activities, you cannot promote illegal activities, such as property crime, distribution of illegal weapons, or drug manufacturing.

Self-harm

We don’t allow any page that promotes or glorifies self-harm, such as pages that encourage self-injury, suicide, or an eating disorder. Examples include pages that glorify self-scarification or a pro-anorexia campaign. If we believe there’s a credible risk the Influencer will harm themselves, we will work with law enforcement when needed. However, we allow content that promotes awareness such as self-harm survival stories, especially if they have educational value.

Illegal Activity

We don’t allow pages that collect money for an illegal purpose, or that encourage others to break the law. For example, Influencers may not promote illegal weapons, drug manufacturing techniques or distribution, or property crime. For example, we don’t allow content that organizes or encourages vandalism. Note that we do allow street art.

Dangerous Activities

We ask that content creators do not ingage in any dangerous activites on Glimpse while usuing the platform

Spam

While it can be hard to grow your Followers, no one likes being spammed. These are some of the actions we consider to be spamming, which is prohibited on Glimpse:

Don’t create pledging schemes;

Don’t contact other Influencers to have a pledge-for-a-pledge kind of trade deal.

Don’t use Glimpse to release or link to malware or phishing content. Don’t post misleading content to grow your Followers.

Don’t post comments on other content creators’ pages promoting your own page.

Don’t send a large number of unsolicited private messages asking for support.

Don’t use incorrect tagging in order to drive more search results.

Don’t create Bots

Doxing

We take a strong stance against doxing because it is used to silence or intimidate people with different viewpoints on the internet. It can cause extensive emotional trauma, and can put the victim’s physical safety at risk.

The most classic form of doxing is when an individual’s private personal information is shared. This could be information such as a phone number or home address. The definition of private personal information can vary, and may mean that it is simply very difficult to find.

We also consider it to be doxing when an individual’s non-private information is aggregated. For example, we would consider it doxing if someone’s profile picture was combined with their real name, all of their known social media accounts, and the city they lived in.

No matter the specific information shared, we also evaluate the context around why it was shared. If it looks like this information is being shared for the purpose of making it easier for a large group to harass that individual, we are likely to consider it doxing.

When doxing takes place, we lose the ability to have conversations. Doxing isn’t speech countering speech, it is speech shutting down others’ ability to speak. It removes our ability to discuss ideas, grow as individuals and have a safe space for disagreement.

Glimpse is a platform where content creators can engage with selected followers. We only provide a platform for content creators and followers to interact. We do not screen or endorse any content on Glimpse. If you see content that violates these terms, inform us and we may remove it. While Glimpse supports content creation, we do not legally endorse any content on our site. If content is reported as violating any Glimpse policy or law we may remove it, but we do not take that action lightly.

With your permission, we may give other websites or services the ability to verify information about your Glimpse account or perform actions on your behalf. Information can include the existence of your account, sponsor amounts and length of support. Actions can include creating, editing or deleting sponsor amounts and any other interaction with creators such as posting messages or liking posts.

Sponsored

Glimpse viewers can become sponsors of content by providing money to creators for creating content. Depending on the creators preferences, a follower will be charged either a set amount per month, or a follower may provide a “tip” for a given piece of content. Glimpse is not responsible for the quality, timing or legality of content or compensation.

To become a sponsor simply create an account, update your preferred payment method (either credit card or PayPal) and sponsor to any creator. There are two types of sponsorships. One is a monthly subscription where you pay influencers per month. The other is a content tipping system where you pay creators for certain creations. If you support an creator on a per month basis, then you are charged on behalf of the creator immediately at the time of the sponsorship for the full amount of the subscription. Beginning in the month after the month in which you made your initial sponsorship, your payment is batched with your other existing pledges and charged at the start of the month.

If you support a creator on a tipping per creation basis, then you are charged on behalf of the creator for creations at the actual time and date of your provided gratuity. For both per month and per creation support, you may cancel your pledge at any time.

If you are located in the EU, then VAT is added to the total charge. This is shown when you set up the initial pledge amount.

We may grant refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

In certain situations you may lose access to sponsored content. These include when you cancel your sponsorship to an influencer, your payment method fails, the creator blocks you, or the influencer deletes their account.

We have no control over the quality, timing or legality of content or rewards. We do not grant refunds for failure to deliver content. We do attempt to screen for fraudulent creator pages, but cannot guarantee the identity of creators or the validity of any claims they make. We appreciate your help reporting suspicious creator pages so we can improve Glimpse.me

Creators

Creators create a glimpse page that allows followers to support them. Creators appoint Glimpse as their agent to collect and process payments on their behalf, and our fee is a percentage of the token cost at purchase. Creators are responsible for any taxes owed based on the payments they receive. Creators must also follow glimpse rules about content.

To become an creator, you may convert your viewer account to a creator account or directly make an creator account when siging up. You may choose to charge followers per month or obtain “tips” from followers or viewers based on individual content creation. Subscription payments are processed at the start of each month, while “tips” are processed real time. In connection with your charges to followers, you appoint us as your limited agent for the sole purpose of receiving, holding, and settling payments to you. As your agent, our receipt of funds from a follower on your behalf is the same as receipt of funds by you directly, and you will only have recourse against us, and not against any follower, for any failure by us to settle funds to you. We try to provide timely access to your funds, but you may occasionally experience delays in accessing your funds. We may also block or hold payments for violations of the terms or compliance reasons, including collecting tax reporting information. When payments are delayed or blocked we try to communicate the reasons to you promptly. In order to protect creators, we may block patrons’ payments if we believe them to be fraudulent.

Anyone under the age of 13 cannot have an account.

We are not party to the agreement between followers and creators. If a follower or viewer requests a refund from us, we only grant it in exceptional situations. We deduct the refunded amount from future payments to you.

Glimpse Generated Content

The copyright rights and other property rights to the Site and the Glimpse Social Platform are owned by Glimpse. All rights regarding the content posted to the Site and the Glimpse Social Platform by Glimpse are reserved by Glimpse. The content on the Site may not be used or disseminated without the prior written consent of Glimpse, except that you may download spec sheets solely for the purpose of doing business with Glimpse. The Site and the Glimpse business Platform may contain text, images, audiovisual productions, opinions, statements, facts, articles, or other information created by Glimpse or by third parties for Glimpse. Such content is for your reference only and should not be relied upon by you for any purpose. Glimpse is not responsible for the content’s accuracy and reliability.

Glimpse may provide links to other websites as a convenience for its Site and Social Platform users. Glimpse is not responsible for the content of these other websites, and Glimpse does not endorse, warrant or guarantee the products or services described or offered in these other websites.

You may submit content, including text, images, photographs and video to the Glimpse Social Platform (collectively, “User Generated Content”), provided that you abide by these common sense rules:

Treat others like you want to be treated

User Generated Content

You keep full ownership of all content that you post on Glimpse, but to operate we need licenses to do so. You grant to Glimpse a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and fully-paid, transferable right (including the right to sublicense) to exercise all copyright, publicity, and moral rights with respect to any User Generated Content you post on the Glimpse Social Platform in any media formats and through any media channels. Glimpse expressly disclaims any liability or responsibility for the User Generated Content posted to its Social Platform, and such content does not necessarily represent the opinions or positions of Glimpse. Glimpse does not promise or guarantee that any User Generated Content posted on the Glimpse Social Platform is correct or accurate, and Glimpse does not necessarily agree with or endorse such content. Glimpse retains the right to decline to post any User Generated Content, or remove any previously posted content on Glimpse Social Platform in our sole discretion. User Generated Content shall be legal as provided by the laws of the United States.

Account Disabling

You can permanently disable your account at any time by going to your settings.

We can terminate or suspend your account at any time at our discretion. We can also cancel any pledges and remove any content or rewards at our discretion.

These terms remain in effect after your account is disabled.

General

Limitation of Liability

If you lose money as a result of using the Glimpse social platform, any payment to you is limited to how much you have paid us, and we don’t have to pay you if your loss is unexpected.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for any incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of these terms, or your use or attempted use of Glimpse.me. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damages is limited to the amount of money we have earned through your use of Glimpse.me. We are specifically not liable for loss associated with failure to deliver rewards and from losses caused by conflicting contractual agreements.

For this clause “we” and “our” is defined to include our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and third party service providers.

Privacy

Glimpse respects your personal privacy and the sensitivity of your corporate information. When you visit the Site, we may collect personally identifiable information that you choose to voluntarily disclose. We also may automatically collect certain website use information as you browse the Site. We may share your personal information with other companies and individuals that perform supporting functions in connection with orders for Glimpse products (e.g., credit card processing), and with maintaining the Glimpse Platform. Except as provided herein, we will not share your personal information or any website use information with any party unless required by law.

Be considerate of others’ privacy, do not reference another without his or her permission.

Glimpse Employees

If you are a Glimpse employee, you must also follow the Glimpse Employee Social Networking Guidelines. Content posted by Glimpse employees is their own and does not necessarily represent the positions, strategies, or opinions of Glimpse, unless such persons have been authorized by Glimpse to speak on its behalf. The content on the Glimpse Social Platform is provided for informational purposes only and is not meant to be an endorsement or representation by Glimpse or any other party.

If you believe that your copyright or other rights have been infringed, please provide Glimpse’s Designated Agent (identified below) written notice with the following information:

• A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Site or the Glimpse Social Platform.

• A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

If the disputed materials were posted by a third party identifiable through reasonable efforts, we will provide reasonable notice to the third party of the charge. If the third party responds with a valid counter-notification, we will provide you with a copy so that you may take any other steps you may consider appropriate.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem please talk to us, but you are limited in how you can resolve disputes. You waive your right to trial by jury and your right to participate in a class action proceeding.

We encourage you to contact us if you have an issue. If a dispute does arise out of these terms or related to your use of Glimpse, and it cannot be resolved after you talk with us, then it must be resolved by arbitration. This arbitration must be administered by JAMS under the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules & Procedures. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. Arbitrations may only take place on an individual basis. No class arbitrations or other grouping of parties is allowed. By agreeing to these terms you are waiving your right to trial by jury or to participate in a class action or representative proceeding, we are also waiving these rights.

We follow the JAMS Policy on Consumer Arbitrations Pursuant to Pre-Dispute Clauses Minimum Standards of Procedural Fairness for all arbitrations done under these terms. If any portion of these terms do not follow that standard, that portion is severed from these terms.

This clause does not limit either party’s ability to seek injunctive or other equitable relief for disputes relating to intellectual property or proprietary data.

Governing Law

Any disputes with us must be resolved in Clark County under Nevada law.

Nevada law, excluding its conflict of law provisions, governs these terms and all other Glimpse policies. If a lawsuit does arise, both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

Entire Agreement

These terms and any referenced policies are the entire agreement between you and Glimpse, and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision is modified to the extent necessary to enforce it. If a provision cannot be modified, it is severed from these terms, and all other provisions remain in force. If either party fails to enforce a right provided by these terms, it does not waive the ability to enforce any rights in the future.
