An affiliate program is a system that pays money to an individual that refers another user to a particular site.  Usually the payment is a percentage of the referred persons earning from the site.  Most affiliate programs only allow for the referral fee to be paid out on the original referral, or a single tier.

We at Glimpse have done way better that that.  We created a 5 tier program.  That’s right, we pay YOU for your referral, their referral, their referrals referral, their referrals referrals referral and their referrals referrals referrals referral.  That’s a lot of referrals!

Let’s look at the math to see how this can really add up to a good income supplement.

You refer someone, lets call them R1. R1 refers someone, R2. R2 refers some one and so on until their is an R5.

R1: $1000 x 2% = $20

R2: $20 x 33% = $6.60

R3: $6.6 x 33% = $2.18

R4: $2.18 x 33% = $0.72

R5: $.072 x 33% = $0.24

Total referral paid to you: $29.74/month.  This calculation is based on every referral generates $1000/month using the Glimpse platform.  Now we know that $29.74 isn’t going to make you rich, but imagine if you were able to refer 10 people that reached the $1000/month level.  $300/month is not bad for not doing anything other than sharing your page link with other creators.  We do all the math and it is all transparent. You can check your referral balance at anytime and see where you stand. We pay you as long as your referrals continue to generate income on Glimpse. Oh yeah one other thing, there are no limits on how many referrals that you earn from. So unlimited passive income potential. Just one more reason to use Glimpse as your online marketplace.

However, most of these platforms have limited or no ability for you to market to your followers or friends to help generate an direct income for you.  Glimpse was designed with this in mind.  We offer and easy way for drive interested traffic to your Glimpse page where you can offer multiple options for content consumption while making money on your content and skills.

Our desktop and mobile sites are not “apps” that require a download from a store.  We created Glimpse to be as functional as a fully web based system. We did this so we are not beholden to any OS or outside company. We control our rules and how we allow Glimpse to be used by it’s users.  We don’t sensor speech or content as long as it doesn’t cross into being threatening or illegal.  Glimpse is a private company and allows it’s users to control who has access to their content.

This independence also means that Glimpse doesn’t pay a fee for the privilege of being part of an app store and therefore we are able to keep fees to our content providers extremely small. These fee’s our only incurred when a withdrawal of tokens is being done as transaction fee.  Our content providers are able to offer different levels of access to their content and are able to “charge” different amounts for the different levels.

How to use Stories

Story’s short lifespan is a plus but you do run the risk of users missing your story if they aren’t online when the story goes live.  While we send notifications of new stories to your users, it is a best practice to let your users know that you have a new story dropping in your regular posts and communications with them.  Public content in your stories can also be seen by all of your glimpsed users and you can promote it to users even outside Glimpse by sending them a link to your Story.

Treat your stories like a channel, create story themes and group them together or schedule types of stories for the same time of day or day of the week.  Let your users/followers learn to expect something from you, it will help create a consistent traffic program to your page.

Be consistent across all of your social media platforms with your stories.   Make sure that each posted story has a consistent feel and look, it will help with your brand recognition.   Ensure that your company branding such as your logo and company name  is visible in all of your story content. Remember you are wanting to create a brand…you need to let your users know who you are.

Create a call to action in your story.  Direct watchers to a particular page or post on your site that you want them to see.

Stories are are an important part of your social media program. They allow you present content, run advertising campaigns and interact with your social media followers. They help you to build your brand effectively while providing a possible revenue source for you as a creator.

How do you make money with Glimpse?

It’s simple, Glimpse allows you to create sponsorship levels for your content. These levels are fully customizable, from completely public to fully private, it’s up to you, it’s your show. Glimpse allows it’s providers a variety of options and formats in which to showcase their talents. These include images, video, live broadcast, timed video calls, stories, wall posts, private messages and a store. Each of these formats offers a chance for you the provider to make money on your content.

Let’s look at an example of how this might work…

If you really love to cook and want to share your passion and some of your favorite recipes, you could create a video of you cooking one of your favorite dishes. How can you monetize this?  One option for you might be posting this as a free video and then sell the recipe in your store as part of a cookbook or individually…. Or you could create a video series for public viewing, offer your recipes for sale or free, and broadcast cooking classes for a fee… Or create teaser videos showing the ingredients and the finished product and charge for the full video…Or you could offer your videos and recipes for free and charge for personal cooking lessons through the timed call feature…Or all of the above and anything else in between.

It’s your choice. You have the control to provide the content in anyway that you want.

It’s a simple process;

Step 1: From your dashboard navigate to the menu in the top left.

Step 2: Click on the “Profile Invite Link” button. This will automatically generate a unique link to your site.

Step 3: Click the “Copy Direct Link” button. This will add the link to  your clipboard.

Now that you have the link on your clipboard you are able to send to whomever you want through t whatever communication platform that you wish.  Once the link is accepted and used, the user will now be a “friend” and have access to you Glimpse site.  You still have control to what type of content they can view/use on your site as normal.

You can broadcast on a glimpse.me at any time, all your glimpsed users will see that you are broadcasting on their activity lines and your Sponsors will even get SMS notifications.

Although all users on your glimpsed list will see your activity only those who are sponsoring you can join your broadcast.

Your sponsors can communicate with you during your broadcast via chat and can even send you tokens!

To active Sponsorships go to Settings then Sponsorships and click ” Activate sponsorships”

After you have activated sponsorships you can choose which type of sponsorship thats fits you best

Full Sponsorship

Full  Sponsorships allow other Glimpse users to view your entire page and Sponsor folders for a 30 day period of time for sponsorship price.

Sponsorships continue every 30 days and will renew until it is canceled.

Note! You may still sell Private folders with a Full Sponsorship.

Album sponsorship

Album sponsorships allow Glimpse users to visit you page at no cost but will also allow them to see your sponsor folders for a 30 day period after the sponsorship is started

At the end of that 30 day period the sponsorship will renew until it is canceled.

Note! You may still sell private folders with a page sponsorship.

Note!  When trying to make a Sponsor album you will not see the option for this album unless you have sponsorships activated

Glimpse allows you to customize who you receive notifications from.

By default notifications are all set to be on but you have have the option to edit those settings

Turn off notifications
Glimpse users who you wish not to receive notifications from anymore.

Go to Settings and click Notifications .. Go to Edit Notifications.. Find user and click “off” and click save settings.

You have the option to turn off all SMS notifications or email notifications

This will make it so you will lose all text notifications or email notifications from users. We recommend you leave notification on to use important features on Glimpse

Phone number

Your phone number is always hidden. You may change your phone number at any time you wish but be sure to use a correct mobile number to receive notification.

Some notification you may see are from getting tips, Glimpse request or someone Sponsoring you.

Has Tags

Be sure you use the correct hashtags that reflect things about you.

Hash Tags are the words that make your profile visible during a search request.  Put as many as you like in the Hash Tag box

Glimpse me   

This is where everyone can search and view you.profile.

Guarded   

No one can view or search your profile. It can only be accessed by a private invite link sent by you to other users.

COMMUNICATING

Live video calls  

Invite Glimpse users to a private one on one video call. Users have the ability to send tokens while on a live video call with you.

Private Messaging

Private messaging is where glimpse users can leave you messages for the next time you log in.

Chat Wall  

Glimpse users can leave a general comment on your wall.

For example, perhaps a sample video or picture that is in a private album that’s for sale can be posted in a chat wall.

You also have the ability to set an expiration time for the content that you post on your wall.

Glimpse users from all over the world can buy tokens and send them to you. No longer are you restricted to just customers in your country

Pay Yourself

Pay yourself anytime you decide you want your tokens to be retrieved into your account.

This means you can get paid every day if you like. Just make sure to verify your account first and then add your banking details.
